Druid Worship
The
Callanish Stones on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, are a fine example
of the many stone circles that dot the British Isles and Ireland. Though
the old Druids may have used these circles, they did not build them
-- already ancient monuments in the Druid's time. The old Druids
far preferred groves of trees for their worship space. The Order
of Bards, Ovates, and Druids today carries on that tradition in its
Sacred Grove Planting Programme, centered in England.
